The Gran Teatro Falla in Cadiz, also known as the Teatro Manuel de Falla, is a theatre built with red brick in the Neo-Mudéjar style. Constructed between 1884 and 1905, the theater was known as the "Gran Teatro" until 1926, when it was renamed for the Cadiz composer, Manuel de Falla. The Neo-Mudéjar style was popular in the late 19th and early 20th century in Spain, and was a revival of the Moorish Mudéjar style of building ornamentation used in Iberian Christian kingdoms between the 13th and 16th centuries. Typical features include arabesque horseshoe arches, with alternating red and white voussoirs, and abstract decorative brickwork.
